Russian - English and English - Russian translation and interpreting

  • Interpretation services - "live" translation of conversations or conference presentations between Russian and English.
  • Text translation - between Russian and English, including translating financial, medical and scientific documents.
  • Conference "animation" - acting as a bi-lingual facilitator and presenter of conferences of primarily Russian and English speakers.
  • Speech writing, Etiquette, Toasts - If required the interpreter can assist foreign visitors needing a better understanding of cultural differences. In particular Russians place high value on toasts and not just at formal dinners. A Russian toast is much more than the minimalist British approach. Neither "Cheers" nor an approximate Russian translation such as "Zastarovia" will do, your hosts are expecting several sentences.

The main translator, Olga Grishina, is a native Russian speaker and until recently a Professor of English at Moscow State Linguistic University. Now UK based, the translation services are location independent but where a physical presence is required for interpreting or animation UK locations are generally preferred.

Associate translators are used for their specialist knowledge of, for example, scientific terminology. These are Moscow based and not readily available for interpretation services outside Russia.
